Mudras are hand gestures. They do and symbolize different things. Explanations of what they symbolize are widespread. Less well known, however, are what they do for the holder. The Ganesha Mudra is used to overcome obstacles and can be employed whenever one is struggling. It symbolizes strength when facing troubles and eases tension. The Ganesha mudra is known to strengthen the heart-muscle

In Ganesha Mudra the left hand should be held in front of the chest with the palm facing outward. This Mudra should be done once a day and it helps to strengthen the heart muscles and open the bronchial tubes and release tension. It also opens the fourth chakra and boosts confidence in the practitioner.
- Bend the fingers and grab the left hand with the right hand with the palm facing inward, see that both the hands are clasped.
- Exhale and vigorously pull the hands apart without releasing the grip.
- The hands are in front of the chest, and this action will tense the muscles of the upper arm and the chest area.
- Inhale and let go of the tension. Repeat six times. Change the hand positions and again do the exercise six times.
- Remain in silence for a while after this.
- The exercise can also be done with one elbow pointing upwards and another pointing downwards.
Visualize the color red, a mosaic, a mandala, in various tones of red. Focus all of your senses on it for a while. Red should strengthen, warm, and widen your heart, giving you the courage to be open and confident.
Greetings, I enjoy your blog. This is a nice site and I wanted to post a note to let you know, good job! Thanks MiMi
When you say change hand positions you mean hold this posture in reverse with the right hand palm pointing outward and the left hand palm pointing inward?
Best wishes thank you!
