अथ योगगनपतिध्यनं || मुद्गलपुरणे ||
योगरुधो योगपत्तभिरमो | बलर्कभश्चान्द्रनीलन्षुकध्यः|
पषेक्ष्वक्षन्योगदन्दं दधानः |पयन्नित्यं योगविग्नेश्वरो नः| 30| रक्तवर्णः

yogArudho yogapattabhiramo| bAlarkabhashcandraneelanshukAdhyah|
pashekshvakshanyogadandam dadhanah| payannityam yogavigneshvaronah| 30|raktavarnah
I meditate on Sri Yoga Ganapathy, seated in Yoga posture, in blissful meditation, radiant like the rising sun, holding in his hands the rosary, a sugarcane stalk, a noose and medicant’s staff
Yoga Ganapati, the Ascetic Ganesha is one of the 32 Ganapati listed in Mudgala Purana. He is absorbed in mantra japa. His knees are surrounded with the meditation girdle (yogapatta) and is in the meditative pose. He is chaturbhuja or 4 hands and He holds a yoga staff, sugar cane stalk, a noose and prayer beads in his hands. His complexion is Raktavarna (morning sun). Blue garments adorn His form.
